Tonsipret is a natural preparation, based on traditional homeopathic ingredients. The medicinal plants in the composition of the preparation - Capsicum annum, Guaiacum and Phytolacca americana, determine the effectiveness of the drug and, respectively, the indications for administration. Pepper (Capsicum annuum) contains capsaicinoids, irritating substances that induce a burning sensation; mainly generated by capsaicin.
